24 Month Baby Stickers

Super cute 24 pack of baby month stickers. The animals are playful and fun looking. I got these for as a gift for my sister who is having her first baby in about 10 weeks. The printing is clear and colorful. This sticker pack comes with one sticker for each month (12) and one for each of the major first holidays (12). The holiday stickers are the same good quality as the month stickers. The only one we really didn't get was the New Year sticker. It is a snowman. Granted there are many places that still have snow on the New Year, but not every place does... like Central FL where I am. Also, a snowman really isn't celebrating anything and doesn't have much in common with a New Year. It is a cute snowman, just not really appropriate for the "New Year" sticker. A different graphic for the "New Year" one would have been better. Maybe a NYE hat? I was provided this set of stickers complimentary in exchange for my honest review. I have no relationship with the seller.

Pashoshi Baby Bandana Bibs

Bandana Bibs by Pashoshi
You can find them Here.
#pashoshibaby

Pashoshi baby bandana bibs. It seems that within the past month or so that these style of bibs have become all the rave. There has been an obvious jump in popularity. This is one style that I can honestly say that have never considered until now. I'm not sure why though. Anyway when I seen these come available to review I jumped at the chance to try out something new.

I have to say that these are pretty amazing. They are amazingly soft. No. Joke. And it is a plus that they have actual boy designs. Not just obviously gender neutral colors/designs. But an actual boy geared set. Not that there is anything wrong with unisex or gender neutral thing. It is just nice to find a boy set. It seems I'm always finding cute girl items and rarely boy things. But back to the bibs. They are really nice. They are turned and topstitched. Nothing wrong with that it is just a difference of style between t&t and surging the edges. I personally do not have a preference in either finishing. These are a pretty decent size too. I have to say that honestly it is the arrow pattern that totally had me giddy. I love the arrow pattern! If you are not a babywearer you might not know all about the CA (cultural appropriation) debate going on within this past year. That is for a whole 'nother post.. or even a full on blog, but not from me.

So, super soft, love the patterns, the snaps in the back are secure, and they are nicely sized. This particular set came with a pacifier clip and a cup/bottle tether. I don't use pacifiers (not my choice but baby boy will not take one). I don't know much about the company. But the product seems to be of a decent quality. I would buy from them in the future. Specially since my sister is due to have her first baby in 2 months!

I received these bibs from the company for testing and review. There has been no compensation for my review.

Update & New "Adult" Blog

So as you may have noticed I've not posted anything in awhile. The cooler weather has left everyone sick. And then once one kid gets better it comes around again for round 2 and 3. My hands are raw from sanitizer and cleaning. But when everyone shares spoons, straws and who knows what.. there is just not enough cleaning that can get rid of all this junk. Although I'm sure that there are new strains of ick cycling through the schools as well.. and they are picking it up from there too.

Also, I have decided to start an "adult" blog. I have a whole bunch of adult toys I've been reviewing and I think that it might be better to start its own review blog. So if you are interested, and NOT offended by adult items hop on over. Over the next week or so it may appear wonky. I'll be updating and refining before a full launch.

Rosewood Wine Bottle Opener and Aerator

Rosewood Wine Bottle Opener and Aerator
You can find the Opener Here and the Aerator Here.
#VinOrama

I have had every intention of having this review up and ready for all of you sooner but it seems the winter sicknesses have proven to be quite horrid this season. I had hoped our household would be immune to all the junk, but sadly that has not happened. In fact it has seemed that it is cycling through our home every 3 weeks. But here it is, better late than never.

We are wine makers. We first started off on this adventure after we had made our own beer for a while. We started making dark wines, but I am mainly the wine drinker in the household and I do not care for dark wines much at all. So we switched to fruity light wines. Our first batch, and by far hands down the BEST we have made was a banana pineapple blend. To. Die. For. It had to have been beginners luck because there is so much that could have gone wrong with that first batch.

Now that we have a few varieties of wines aging or are ready it is time to enjoy them. I'm also not opposed to store bought wines by any means. In fact my fav store bought wine is the Barefoot Moscato.

So now it is time to enjoy. While sometimes I will have a glass or 3 while watching football.. Go Pack GO! I do find that I often enjoy it at night after the kids are in bed and I am enjoying a good read or reviewing. I must also say that while I do have wine glasses... and nice ones now (see a previous review!) I sometimes keep it klassy by drinking it in my Rainforest Cafe mug, my Prudes to Nudes (which is way better with warm beverages), or my Australia mug.

Sometimes I get people lol'ing.. but hay. I keep it real. I'm a mom to 6 and I work full time. I'm lucky to even have a clean glass some days. But enough about me and my mugs. This set is pretty cool and deserves its time.

So whether or not I am mugging some wine or going full out with actual wine glasses, I CAN keep it classy with this beautiful opener. The aerator is just that. Nothing hugely special about it. It performs as it should and it hasn't broken or anything for being plastic. Now the Corkscrew, that is pretty cool. It is made from Rosewood and is made in an army knife style. The aerator is a typical aerator. There is not really much that one can change up on those. The style is typical of other brands and is of the same materials.

Tell me what is your favorite wine? What types do you like? Do you have any to recommend? I'd love to try something new. What do you like to do while enjoying a nice wine?

And purely out of curiosity... do you enjoy your wines room temperature or chilled? It is 50/50 so far between a friend and I. So please tell me what you like.

I was provided these two items free for my review and honest feedback.

Butterfly Reusable Food Pouches

Reusable Food Pouches - Butterfly Design
You can find it Here.
#Butterfly (I was going to link the instagram tag.. buuuttt when I went to go do that a bunch of twerking videos showed up. Sooo... yeah, not going to tag this one.)

If you have young children at home then these reusable pouches are something that you may want to really look into. Better than the store bought food pouches. They really are. These are a thicker plastic, and these are reusable.

They have a cute butterfly design on the front and back. There is also a spot for labeling the contents and the date. I don't use that feature, since they don't last long around my house, but it is there and available for those that do use that sort of labeling system.

When you first get the pouches the tops are sealed with a safety seal just like the store brands are. At the bottom it is a zipper like seal, just like what breastmilk storage bags have. Only they are a little more heavy duty. I guess I would say they are more like the Target brand milk bags. They are not like the Lansinoh brand.

You can use these bags for almost any sort of liquid or semi liquid product. So far we have used them with juice. Although I would not recommend that.. it makes a mess with little hands. But we tried it none the less just to see how it worked. That idea I'll chalk up to "it seemed good in my head, but in reality it sucked" pile.

They wash easily, but I found they don't like to stay upright to dry. So either use a bottle drying rack with the pegs to keep it open to dry or use a fork in the end and lean it up against the wall.

Tip: Don't fill the bags completely full. Leave a little room at the end so when you squeeze the zipper ends shut to seal you do not make a mess with overspill.

As awesome as these pouches are the seller.. ugh NOT so much. Everything *seemed* good. They were in communication with me off and on. Then as soon as the item was purchased they disappeared. Not a SINGLE word back. Not a quick reply, not a blank email, not even a fake canned email. Nadda. It was very disappointing. For this reason alone is why I am including the sellers behavior. I typically do not mention or even suggest anything about companies or sellers. But this instance has left me with a sour taste in my mouth. Had they even just said something the outcome would have been differently. But they did not. Their item was out of stock for a long time, yeah ok I can understand that. Although I personally wouldn't run a promo with out of stock items, but whatever. Then when I was able to order them they still would not ship for days, and then after that I had to use standard shipping which added even more time to the delivery. All the while where the clock is running on my timeline for reviewing. Going past this timeline reflects negatively on me.

So overall the PRODUCT is awesome, A+, Company.. bah D-.

Tutu

Baby Tutu
You can find it Here.
#Babytutu

The fit to this tutu is on the larger size, but it could easily be pinned or bunched to fit skinny kiddos. The waist band is not like other tutus where it is wrapped around and tied to an elastic bit. This one is sewn together with a satin edging. I find this is less irritating on the bellies of kids. Other than that it is a simple design with a straight cut at the bottom. It is not totally see thru, but it is not overstuffed and full, again like the tied kind. I personally like this style better. It looks like it is less from the 80's that way. I was provided this tutu complimentary in exchange for my review. I have no relationship with the seller.

Update: The picture has been fixed. Not sure what happened with that but thanks for letting me know! Also, the tutu has still survived life with a 2 year old. No complaints!

Silicone Potholders

Silicone Potholders
You can find them Here.
#Siliconesavings

Silicone potholders and gloves. What do they actually do? Well they are heat resistant. Yep really. So you can ditch the cloth potholders and mitts. Silicone is much easier to use and wash. And there is no heating up of the glove if it gets wet, unlike with cloth items. I think my grandma still has an ancient cloth mitt that is burned and scorched in no less than 99 spots. Yet she still keeps it around. Which reminds me.. she also has a completely mangled potato masher she has kept as well. She says it adds character hahaha. In the 80's she left it on the oven and it melted. It still makes for a traditional story during the holidays. But unlike that handle, these gloves are not going to easily melt.

I got this combo heat resistant gloves and potholders because we do a lot of smoking/grilling year round. I have potholders like this one before and really liked them so them as a bonus gift in this set was a big plus.

I actually first tested them using a cast iron pan. I made fried chicken and not that I needed to move the pan, but what better way to test out the gloves. Cast iron hold a lot of heat. Plus there was hot oil on the handle. Needless to say no burned hands and it was a quick wash in the sink to get the oil off. I keep them hanging on the wall on a hook. Use, wash, hang to dry, and they are set for next time. Easy peasy. I actually keep the squares hung on a hook also for the same reason. And they are out of the way but ready to use.

We have a wood table and have not had any issues with hot/steam marks in the wood either. These are best for quick hands on/off jobs. We used them to carry a hot meat plate from outside to inside into the kitchen and they were just starting to get warm.

I was provided this silicone heat resistant set at a free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I have no relationship with the seller.

Hand Painted Set of 2 Wine Glasses

Hand Painted Set of 2 Wine Glasses
Find them Here.
#valentinaparis

These hand painted wine glasses are absolutely stunning. They are a very large and generous size. We make our own wine and since I am partial to light wines we used these with a delicious banana wine. They were the talk of the evening.

At first I thought that the stem was a bit flimsy. But upon use I found that not to be the case and the stem and base is sturdy. Maybe it is mom brain at first thinking that they will get broken. But I think they will be ok.

The seller of these glasses had specifically asked not to have pictures available on the amazon review because it can be hard to capture the true colors of these glasses. So I have provided a bunch here for you below.

I was provided this set of wine glasses at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I have no relationship with the seller.

Colon and Body Detox Capsules - Non Stimulant

Colon and Body Detox Capsules - Non Stimulant
You can find it Here.
#justifiedlabs

Colon and body detox capsules? What are they? Have you ever used them before?

I had not ever used anything like this before. But I decided to give them a try. Why not, right? It is said we all have approximately 10lbs of waste in our digestive systems just sitting there. Making us feel bloated, sluggish, icky and a whole slew of other negative things.

So what are these? Well these detox capsules are what appears to be herbal supplements designed to promote good digestive health. The title states "Colon Detox Total Body Cleanse - Flush Excess Waste and Toxins - Promotes Healthy Digestion and Weight Loss 60 Capsules."  First off, I only decided to try these out after seeing that they contain no stimulants. I'm still nursing so any stimulant (and a few non-stimulant things) are still a big no no right now. Only to find out that these contain other ingredients that are NOT ok for nursing or pregnant mothers.

Well crap. Right?

As luck would have it I actually got sick, my supply tanked, and I had to take other medicines to get over the ick. So, since you are not supposed to take these for more than 7 days at a time anyway. I gave it a go and pump n dumped.

Anyway, taking these will make you poop. That is it. They even contain a probiotic, so it makes sense. I'm not sure they did anything but that. I'm thinking that when I am finally done nursing that maybe I will try these again to see if there is any difference. But as of now I don't think these are quite for me.

I was provided the bottle of colon and body detoxing capsules complimentary in exchange for my honest review of them. I have no relationship with the seller.
