Nice quality wine aerator. It comes in a nice felted box with a magnetic flap closure so if you are gifting it it will be displayed nicely (and safely). We make our own banana and blended wines so this arrived just in time for the holidays for us to use. It fits securely into bottles and does not spray or drip when pouring. The cork area is a gripping rubber-like black piece. The rest of the device is made from plastic. The closest thing I can think of is plexi-glass. That is the closest I can compare it to. It has been dropped and did not break, chip, or crack. So it is durable as well. I was provided this aerator at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
