I received this cute little hot air balloon about a week ago, or less, I forget the actual day it arrived. I DO remember that it came in a huge Amazon box and I was expecting something bigger. In actuality it is smaller than I expected. It is not bad though. It works and is cute. I wish the balloon panels were a bit larger because the tail is super long and it kinda looks a little mismatched. But again, not really a big deal.

So we opened the box and started our attempt at putting it together. There were no instructions so we had to wing it. It was not hard to figure out. It just took a few times of trial and error to get it right. Typically when there is a new package at the house if there is a guy around he needs to be the one opening it and trying it out. Ok, so I sat back on this one and watched where it went. It went to an ugly place hahaha. It was lopsided and all sorts of jacked up. Ending with him ultimately handing it over and just walking away.

Lets start over. There are 6 panels and one middle piece that has the tail connected at one end and the hanging swivel at the other end. In-between is where you put the panels. You want them to have the fabric side face you. There is a canvas side and a plastic side. Next you want the bottom of the teardrop at the bottom. Makes sense right? Well a couple people I had try it out didn't get it on the first try. Now to put it together... and I'm not 100% sure I did it right, but I think I did.  There are 6 open triangle spaces on the bottom piece. BUT there are also 6 circle spaces. Only one of our 6 holes was not punched open all the way. So either it is a fluke or a design flaw. Since one of our holes was not punched open all the way I just went with the triangles. Insert one end into a triangle and one into the top part. Work your way around the circle. That is it.

I really would recommend this if you are looking for a cute little something to decorate your yard or garden. Either way a bit of color wont hurt anyone. Go try it out. My only real issue with it is that it didn't come with any sort of instructions. Even a small picture diagram would have been nice.

I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
